  3. There was this one day during elementary school where my mom came to .say hello to me
  4. I was so embarrassed. How could she do this ?to me
  5. I ignored her, threw her a hateful look and .ran out
  6. The next day at school one of my classmates said, \"EEEE, your mom only has \"!one eye
  7. I wanted to bury myself. I also wanted my mom to .just disappear
  8. So I confronted her that day and said, \" If you're only gonna make me a laughing stock, why \"!!!?don't you just die
  9. My mom did not ...respond
  10. I didnt even stop to think for a second about what I had said, because I was .full of anger
  11. I was oblivious to her .feelings
  12. I wanted out of that house, and have .nothing to do with her
  13. So I studied real hard, got a chance to go to .Singapore to study
  14. Then, I got married. I bought a house of my own. .I had kids of my own
  15. I was happy with my life, my kids and the comforts
  16. Then one day, my mother .came to visit me
  17. She hadn't seen me in years and she didn't even .meet her grandchildren
  18. When she stood by the door, my children laughed at her, and I yelled at her for coming .over uninvited
  19. I screamed at her, \"How dare you come to my house and scare my children!\" \"!!!GET OUT OF HERE! NOW
  20. And to this, my mother quietly answered, \"Oh, I'm so sorry. I may have gotten the wrong address,\" and she disappeared .out of sight
  21. One day, a letter regarding a school reunion came to my .house in Singapore
  22. So I lied to my wife that I was going on a business .trip
  23. After the reunion, I went to the .old shack just out of curiosity
  24. My neighbors said that .she died
  25. I did not shed a single .tear

Mother's Love never die

The mysteries of life and a mother’s undying love for her children…
Keegan froze at the computer as the sound of the doorbell sent shivers down his spine.
It was late…too late for anyone decent to be coming over for a visit but there it was again.
Now his wife Jennifer stuck her head into the room with a look of fear and dread on her pretty young face.
“Keegan, did you hear the doorbell?”
“Yes, I did, honey” he answered as he stood to leave the small back room of their Victorian home.
“Who could it be at this hour, Keegan?”
“I don’t know…but I’ll find out!” He said quickly as he rushed past her.
As Keegan neared the small foyer, he slowed his steps and strained to look through the white lace curtains that covered the square window on the antique oak door.
He couldn’t see anyone standing there but yet the doorbell rang out for a third time.
He didn’t turn on any lights but moved quietly in the darkness.
Reaching the door, he very carefully pulled the edge of the curtains back so that he could see out onto the large wooden porch without being seen by anyone standing on the other side of the door.
He smiled now as he hollered out to Jennifer that everything was okay.
“It’s just mom, Jen!”
“Oh, thank God!” She called back to him from the family room.
“Hi mom, come on in!”
“How are you tonight?”
The house seemed to settle in and breathe easier once again.
Church services were over for another Sunday and the young couple now sat down at the usual table to enjoy coffee and donuts with their friends Jo and Carol.
The small church family always enjoyed their time together and today would be no different.
“So, what did you guys do yesterday?” Jo asked as she sat down.
“Oh nothing much…” Jennifer answered.
“Well, my mom came over late last night”. Keegan said with a smile.
“And scared Jen and I have to death!” he added.
“Oh? How late did she come over?” Jo asked with a chuckle.
The couple turned to look at each other before answering.
“What was it, honey…about 11:00?” Keegan asked.
“Yeah, that sounds about right.” Jennifer replied with a somber look.
“Well, that is rather late, no wonder it scared you both, was everything okay with her?”
Jo asked.
“Yes, was she alright?” Carol echoed.
“No, you don’t understand…” Keegan began.
“My mom died five years ago!”
“What?” Jo gasped as she shuddered violently.
“Yeah, she died five years ago, Jo…”
“But how then do you know that it was her?” Carol asked.
“Yes, did you actually see her standing there?” Jo added.
“Well no, I didn’t see her. See, she always knocked on my bedroom door before coming in when I was a kid because she respected my privacy. Now she knocks on the front door of my house before she comes in to let me know that it’s her.”
The two ladies sat dumbfounded but believed their young friends.
“The other thing that Keegan hasn’t told you is that our doorbell runs on batteries. There isn’t one in it now and we haven’t put one in it in over a year, so there is no way for it to ring but yet it does and there’s no one on the porch…so you tell us…”
Both Jennifer and Keegan sat smiling at their friends who still sat speechless across from them.
“Well then, it must be your mom, Keegan…” Jo said with a shiver.
“She’s just watching over us from above and wants us to know it.” Keegan said in a reassuring tone.
“And” he added, “A mother’s love never dies…”

Mothers in Quran

Your Lord hath decreed that ye worship none but Him and that ye be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in thy life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honor. And out of kindness lower to them the wing of humility and say: 'My Lord! Bestow on them Thy Mercy even as they cherished me in childhood.'"

The Hawk and the Hen

A hawk flying about in the sky one day decided that he would like to

marry a hen whom he often saw on earth. He flew down and searched
until he found her, and then asked her to become his wife. She at
once gave her consent on the condition that he would wait until she
could grow wings like his, so that she might also fly high. The hawk
agreed to this and flew away, after giving her a ring as an engagement
present and telling her to take good care of it.

The hen was very proud of the ring and placed it around her neck. The
next day, however, she met the cock who looked at her in astonishment
and said:

"Where did you get that ring? Do you not know that you promised to
be my wife? You must not wear the ring of anyone else. Throw it away."

And the hen threw away the beautiful ring.

Not long after this the hawk came down bringing beautiful feathers
to dress the hen. When she saw him coming she was frightened and ran
to hide behind the door, but the hawk called to her to come and see
the beautiful dress he had brought her.

The hen came out, and the hawk at once saw that the ring was gone.

"Where is the ring I gave you?" he asked. "Why do you not wear it?"

The hen was frightened and ashamed to tell the truth so she answered:

"Oh, sir, yesterday when I was walking in the garden, I met a large
snake and he frightened me so that I ran as fast as I could to the
house. Then I missed the ring and I searched everywhere but could
not find it."

The hawk looked sharply at the hen, and he knew that she was deceiving
him. Then he said to her:

"I did not believe that you could behave so badly. When you have
found the ring I will come down again and make you my wife. But as
a punishment for breaking your promise, you must always scratch the
ground to look for the ring. And every chicken of yours that I find,
I shall snatch away."

Then he flew away, and ever since all the hens throughout the world
have been scratching to find the hawk's ring.
